Relationships are Catalysts for

Personal Growth

You may find yourself stuck in a negative cycle and just can’t seem to break it. Typical symptoms of negative relational cycles include:

· Feeling a growing distance

· Having an argument repeatedly

· Periods of silence that are growing

· Feeling exhausted in the relationship

You want to feel loved, respected and supported. That safe, secure feeling may have slipped away, and you want it back.  At Growth for Living, I understand that you just want your relationships to be a comfortable place where you can be happy and …connect, be respected and heard and be hopeful about the future.

Developing Healthy Relationships

Are you wondering how you can develop, nurture and maintain your relationships? We will begin by assessing your situation as quickly as possible, then paradoxically, we will slow things down so you can see exactly what you need in order to bring about change so you can enjoy your relationships.

This takes work, but for those who want to do the work I have a plan. Using Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and the Gottman Method I will equip you to identify interpersonal response patterns and take action by focusing on and practicing skills to develop better ways to communicate and collaborate.

Maybe you are looking to develop your assertiveness skills. You want to be able to express your point of view in a way that is clear and direct, while still respecting the relationship. For this I use an approach called Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) for assertive communication.  You will learn how to communicate in an assertive manner to help you minimize conflict and control your anger. This will lead to more positive relationships with family, friends and others.
